Supply chains generate around 60% of all carbon emissions globally. Especially in chemical industry, supply chains (scope 3) are responsible for 77% of whole emissions. Addressing supply chain sustainability is therefore an essential step in achieving net zero. Global supply chains continue to face complex challenges, the effect of the pandemic is still reverberating, and the disruptions on supply chain caused by political interference, trade barriers, inflation, and regional conflicts are continued.
