Summit Background

Supply chains generate around 60% of all carbon emissions globally. Especially in chemical industry, supply chains (scope 3) are responsible for 77% of whole emissions. Addressing supply chain sustainability is therefore an essential step in achieving net zero.

Global supply chains continue to face complex challenges, the effect of the pandemic is still reverberating, and the disruptions on supply chain caused by political interference, trade barriers, inflation, and regional conflicts are continued. Sustainable supply chain helps unlock resilience and growth in uncertain environment.

Managements of Chemical industry are seeking to build a more reliable and sustainable supply chain network to cope with change and create value. End-to-end visibility, resilience and agile response, more transparent operations, more efficient decision making, better customer experience, more valuable business plans, traceable carbon statistics, sustainable procurement systems, talent and work model innovation, industrial chain collaboration, supplier diversity, innovative technologies application, digital investment strategy, etc., have become the focus of the supply chain revolution.

2023 Global Chemical Supply Chain (China) Summit will be held in Shanghai on 16th-17th November. The summit will bring together about 600 participants from the government & associations, leading chemical manufacturers, 3PLs & 4PLs, consulting agencies, software, equipment, packaging and other solution providers. We are committed to provide you with an efficient, high-quality and fruitful communication platform.
