In order to help chemical and warehousing enterprises better learn and master relevant technical standards and do a good job in chemical warehouse safety management, and also to share and explore a more reasonable chemical warehouse safety management system, Hazardous Goods Branch of China Association of Warehousing and Distribution (CAWD) and AICM jointly held a chemical warehouse safety seminar in Shanghai in December 2020, where representatives from many international chemical enterprises and well-known warehousing enterprises were invited to launch the Chemical Warehouse Safety Assessment System (CWSAS), a non-profit system. And thus, the CWSAS Technical Committee was established. The CWSAS Technical Committee aims to establish and promote a sustainable domestic chemical warehouse safety assessment system which can be a unified standard to evaluate warehousing activities conducted by third parties.
