As Head of China logistics, Jacques leads the country integrated logistics team (300+ staff in Shanghai/Guangzhou/Foshan/Qingdao), oversees and manages the day to day operations including site logistics automatic production, warehouse, transportation and import/export activities.
He Builds up country logistics engineering capability such as automation assets, packaging, packing/drumming process.
He ensures the optimal and seamless logistics process execution for Covestro with related compliance requirements, systematically improves safety performance.
He establishes and implements best practices between Covestro sites, executes a variety of programs/projects in support of developing a core competency in digital developments and identifies opportunities to gain advantage from country supply chain and logistics setup.
